We are looking for a Senior Manager, Contracts who will be part of the Strike Initiatives Sub‑Strategic Business Unit within Air and Space Defense Systems. This team is responsible for ensuring contractual compliance, leading key pursuits, supporting development efforts, and driving new business opportunities. Together, these activities serve as a core growth engine for the program area and enable the long‑term success and future expansion of Raytheon. This position offers you a broad opportunity to engage in varied contract activities including contract management support of significant scope and complexity and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements for proposal, negotiation and contract execution. This role is tailored for a highly motivated, well-organized Contracts professional who is seeking a dynamic and collaborative team environment. Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • Experience with U.S. Government Contracts administration/management under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start date

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and sound contract administration to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and comply with company policies
  • Draft BOEs aligned with contract scope and company policy
  • Partner with Key Program Functions in the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contracts implementation, as well as general contract administration
  • Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract scope
  • Work closely within cross-functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate Terms & Conditions and pricing proposals, examine, and understand cost structure estimates of labor, material, engineering services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Recognize business and contractual issues in program performance and help implement solutions; carry out tasks to completion while exercising good judgment
  • Some domestic travel as needed (approximately 10-15% for 2-3 days) to customer, Raytheon, and/or supplier sites
