About The Position

The Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) Sr Manager Leader for Corporate Functions plays a pivotal role in advancing RBS methodologies across Corporate Function teams—including Finance, Accounting, IT, HR, Supply Chain Sourcing, Strategy & Business Development, and Legal. This RBS leader partners closely with functional leaders and stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, coach teams, deploy RBS and Continuous Improvement tools, and support transformation initiatives aligned with enterprise objectives. The role focuses on driving measurable performance improvement, strengthening problem‑solving capability, and embedding sustainable CI practices within functional processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or related field; advanced degree preferred but not required.
  • 10+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement roles, ideally supporting service‑based or transactional functions.
  • Demonstrated success applying Lean and/or Six Sigma methods in non‑manufacturing environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading CI projects and facilitating improvement events.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Change management experience preferred (e.g., Prosci, Kotter).
  • Certifications such as Lean, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, PMP, or Agile are beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with functional leaders to identify and prioritize CI opportunities that support business goals and improve service delivery.
  • Translate the enterprise CI strategy into actionable plans for corporate function teams.
  • Lead cross‑functional CI projects with clear charters, measurable outcomes, and disciplined project management.
  • Support Kaizen events, process reviews, and structured problem‑solving activities to reduce waste and improve cycle times.
  • Ensure alignment of CI projects with functional priorities and prioritized business needs.
  • Coach leaders and teams on Lean, CI/ RBS tools; develop capability through hands‑on mentoring, training, and facilitation.
  • Support deployment and maturity of the business system including the 12 Foundational Elements (i.e. CI Roadmaps, VDM, Problem Solving, Leader Standard Work) within functional teams.
  • Conduct assessments to identify performance gaps, process inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Use data‑driven analysis to validate problems, quantify benefits, and guide decision‑making.
  • Help institutionalize CI practices to drive sustainable improvements in productivity, quality, and employee engagement.
  • Support change management activities to ensure adoption of new processes and behaviors.
  • Promote cross‑functional collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning among corporate function teams.
