About the Role As a Senior Manager - Consulting (Automotive), you will make an impact by leading business transformation initiatives for automotive clients across the value chain—from sourcing and procurement to manufacturing and distribution. You will be a valued member of the Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy & Utilities (MLEU) Consulting unit in the Americas region and work collaboratively with clients, Cognizant teams, and other stakeholders to deliver strategic solutions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of consulting or industry experience with a strong focus on automotive and manufacturing.
  • Proven expertise in configure-to-order and process-oriented environments.
  • Excellent client-facing capabilities and a track record of selling and delivering consulting engagements.
  • Experience engaging with Director/VP-level executives at client organizations.
  • MBA with strong academic credentials (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree required

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of R D, PLM, and integrated design and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and client relationships.
  • Ability to drive thought leadership and contribute to industry forums.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business transformation programs for automotive clients, focusing on sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, and distribution.
  • Provide strategic guidance and tailored solutions for manufacturing and configure-to-order environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver process improvements and operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies, including inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics optimization.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies for clients.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives, including authoring white papers, conducting workshops, and hosting webinars.
