Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way. The Community You Will Join: The communications team is responsible for telling the Airbnb story around the world. Whether we are briefing press on inspiring travel trends, highlighting unique experiences, driving demand on the platform, or explaining how travel on our platform benefits local families, communities and government, we are the voice of Airbnb on a broad range of topics. We're a fast growing and high energy team with a passion for people, places and great stories. If you'd like to be part of one of the world's greatest communications teams, come tell us your story. The Difference You Will Make: Reporting to the Communications Lead, we are seeking a US-based Senior Communications Manager to support Airbnb’s Corporate Communications team. You’ll join a group dedicated to promoting and protecting the business, working on high-visibility campaigns that shape Airbnb’s reputation. The ideal candidate is comfortable developing and executing communications strategies with broad reach, has experience pitching and building relationships with media, and can craft compelling materials such as press releases, blog posts, pitches, and briefing documents. We’re looking for a savvy, articulate communicator whose skills, judgment, and work ethic align seamlessly with our team.
