About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Commercial Platforms, is a member of the Commercial Platforms & Programs team responsible for defining and executing platform strategies that support enterprise goals and enhance commercial performance. This role supports innovation, adheres to established governance processes and policies, and collaborates with team members to align platform capabilities with enterprise objectives to deliver exceptional business outcomes. The position also supports and activates strategies related to global Commercial Performance and helps identify, develop, sustain, and support solutions by providing ongoing centralized services for enterprise commercial platforms, including both existing platforms and new opportunities identified through strategy and other work efforts. Team members employ leading approaches and technologies to deliver effective and efficient solutions that support commercial performance. In addition, this role provides project support to facilitate the effective design, build, execution, and ongoing support of commercial platforms, requires participation and leadership on cross-functional teams, ensures platforms meet continent and stakeholder needs while aligning with key enterprise strategic priorities, and may include responsibilities such as ad hoc analysis as needed.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
  • Expertise in tracking, analyzing, and reporting on usage results and metrics
  • Proven track record in areas like Excel VBA (required), Tableau, Power BI, Python and Snowflake

  • 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry

  • Deliver innovative and technically sound solutions to support enterprise and continent commercial goals and results.
  • Support and maintain governance frameworks to ensure platform integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Deliver excellent work quality, ensuring integrity and accuracy of data, coding, and output
  • Identify and evaluate appropriate data and information requirements that differ by region, brand, and system.
  • Support technical testing requirements platform projects.
  • Identify and address root issues resulting in ineffective use of platforms and tools.
  • Work as directed to centralize existing platforms and tools for global use.
  • Share best practices across all continents.
  • Work closely with Director, Commercial Platforms to support actionable recommendations and responses to optimize performance and drive growth and profitability.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis as needed to support the company’s strategic imperatives.
  • Utilize advanced technical skills in the development and support of analytic tools, with expertise in data analysis and the technologies listed above.
