About The Position

As the Senior Manager of Commercial Insights, you will play a pivotal role in guiding Bacardi’s North America strategic decisions by delivering actionable insights through forward-looking analysis and evaluation of industry trends. This position is ideal for a forward-thinking, data-driven leader committed to transforming how Bacardi anticipates, interprets, and responds to market and consumer dynamics. ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will have proven experience in market intelligence, commercial insights, or strategic roles. They should be highly adept at analyzing and transforming large, complex data sets into actionable insights. Strong influencing, collaboration, and leadership skills are essential, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels, both internally and externally. The candidate must also demonstrate agility and a results-driven mindset to consistently drive business value. You will be based in Miami, Florida.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Data Science, Marketing, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in market intelligence, business analytics or consumer insights, ideally within CPG or Beverage/Alcohol
  • Proven expertise with syndicated data (NIQ, IWSR, IRI, NABCA, NUMERATOR), and competitive intelligence
  • Proven expertise in Depletions data (VIP, SIPSOURCE, ANAPLAN), and distribution metrics
  • High comfort modelling and understanding large and complex data sets
  • Ability to understand and influence decision making, especially commercial decisions
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; able to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders
  • Ability to balance urgency with analytical rigor, ensuring decisions are made efficiently and grounded in data.
  • Strong Communication Skills - written, verbal, presentation
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels to achieve desired goals

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic analysis of category, brand, and competitive performance across channels, identifying growth opportunities, market risks, and white-space potential.
  • Provide actionable insights on distribution, velocity, and assortment to guide Sales and Marketing, and distributor partners on execution priorities for sustainable growth.
  • Translate complex data into executive-ready narratives that connect consumer trends, market dynamics, and performance outcomes.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Insights teams to inform brand plans, innovation priorities, and go-to-market strategies using robust insights.
  • Lead competitive intelligence for the spirits category, tracking key competitors, emerging brands, and supplier strategies through syndicated and custom data sources.
  • Contribute to Joint Business Planning (JBP) process with distributor, ensuring collaborative alignment across commercial plans and priorities.
  • Take the lead on ad-hoc projects, managing execution and delivering actionable outcomes.
  • Own the development and maintenance of standard dashboards, scorecards, and recurring business reviews to enhance organizational understanding of market trends and performance.
  • Collaborate effectively with Commercial Planning, Insights, CP&A, Commercial Finance, and Technology teams to advance the analytics and insights agenda.
  • Act as a trusted thought leader on spirits insights, educating stakeholders on category dynamics, data interpretation, and implications for commercial decision-making.
