About The Position

As the Senior Manager, Cloud Engineering at Press Ganey, you will lead a team of platform operations engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure and services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing cloud projects, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring high availability and security of our cloud environments. Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership role managing a team of platform operations engineers or similar technical roles.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc…) and hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and management.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of platform operation engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
• Develop and execute the company's cloud strategy in alignment with business goals, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Lead the design and architecture of cloud-based infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, database, and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure across multiple environments
• Oversee the implementation of automated deployment processes and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure that cloud infrastructure meets industry security standards and compliance requirements.
