The Fresh Foods Senior Manager/Consultant role will support a long-established client in the Produce space as part of the dynamic, growing Fresh Foods Mid-Market practice. The Senior Manager will serve as the day-to-day Client contact, advising and supporting all Circana data & insights efforts. Partnering with the Client Service person, the Senior Manager will ensure that the client secures maximum benefit of subscribed services and leads the client up the insights development curve. Further, the role will partner with all Circana Solution Leads (e.g., Media, Analytics, Innovation, Food Service, Consumption, Technology and more) to leverage our massive toolkit to bolster the client’s Marketing/Sales/Insights programs to yield Sales growth. This role is a terrific pathway to quickly build subject matter expertise and forge internal and external networks to fuel career development…and have fun along the way! The Fresh Foods practice is the trusted industry advisor for Produce and is the data-of-record for all Associations and Wall Street…so come and be a part of the industry leadership!

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of Circana-oriented CPG syndicated market research experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a budget plan target and revenue/account management in a market research service company.
  • Intermediate to Expert level SME with Unify+ and/or similar OLAP tools.
  • Demonstrated mastery 4P analytics to drive business growth recommendations through insights.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—to effectively and efficiently progress efforts forward.
  • Strong networking and teaming acumen given the myriad topics and Circana solutions.
  • A proactive “go-getter” who is excited to develop their career through effort and positivity.
  • Category management expertise and direct experiencing utilizing market measurement and consumer insights to drive a company’s strategic objectives with retail partners.
  • Client/account management skills including CRM systems, relationship mapping and joint business planning essential.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Client Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships by aligning Circana’s data and software solutions with their strategic goals.
  • Deliver Insight-Led Solutions: Translate complex data into actionable insights that help clients make informed decisions and achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Manage the Sales Cycle: Lead end-to-end sales processes including prospecting, needs assessment, solution development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Client Insights, Product, and Analytics) to deliver integrated solutions and ensure client success.
  • Maintain Industry Expertise: Stay current on trends in Retail, CPG and Produce to position Circana as a thought leader and trusted advisor.
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations, including decision-makers and influencers.
  • Utilize Sales Tools and Platforms: Leverage Circana’s proprietary platforms (e.g., Unify+, Liquid Data, Intelligence Suite) to support client engagements and solution delivery.
  • Achieve Revenue Targets: Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals through disciplined pipeline management and strategic account planning.
