About The Position

As part of Marriott's Change Management and Associate Engagement team, the Senior Manager, Change Management and Associate Engagement will support change management and deployment strategies for multiple HR initiatives globally. This individual contributor will deliver strategic plans and tactical communications, while partnering closely with stakeholders across the business through programs that advance enterprise-wide transformation and elevate the associate experience. Additionally, this position will help prepare Board-level materials on behalf of Human Resources.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university required, advanced degree a plus
  • 6+ years' experience leading change management, stakeholder engagement, or communications for a variety of change initiatives
  • Experience consulting to business leaders and designing, developing, and implementing change and communications solutions in large organizations, using a variety of delivery methodologies
  • Strong writer with experience developing and presenting impactful communications and other materials to a broad range of stakeholders (including senior leaders and hotel associates)
  • Demonstrated success working with and influencing cross-functional work teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver change management and engagement plans and activities, working across Human Resources and other groups as part of ongoing transformation efforts.
  • Conduct change impact analyses and stakeholder assessments to determine change management needs for impacted stakeholders and define stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Execute change and communications plans that effectively convey the vision, benefits, and progress of transformation efforts by audience ranging from senior leaders to frontline associates.
  • Develop key messaging and materials to support stakeholder engagement, including written communications, presentations, talking points, speaking notes, and FAQs.
  • Partner with HR Business Partner(s) and Organizational Capability leads and their teams to help identify risks, resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement specific plans to mitigate/address concerns.
  • Work closely with continent teams to localize deliverables and ensure consistent global message.
  • Measure the effectiveness of change management and deployment efforts; set targets, track results and create plans to improve programs.
  • Prepare high-impact presentations, reports, and briefings for Board meetings and senior leadership updates, on behalf of Human Resources.
