The Senior Manager - Global Catering Ops & Logistics position supports the global network of over three dozen vendors and more than 145 catering locations. This role ensures that United remains in compliance with regulations, shapes United's catering policies and procedures, leads investigations, and promotes an effective safety and food safety culture. This role supports our commitment to partnership and leads our catering vendor management team and provides operational oversight of the catering network. This role engages with and supports our United stakeholders from inflight, hospitality and planning as well as those in our airports and works to elevate the quality and performance of our operation. This role helps facilitate key strategy decisions to ensure best use of materials, resources, talent, and time. This role is focused and aligned with organization objectives and supports establishment of performance goals and is a key contributor to United's vendor SLA programs, as well as the understanding and awareness of performance metrics and corrective action plans.
