About The Position

The Senior Manager exercises management responsibility over the administrative and operational activities of the Cardiovascular Research Institute (CVRI). This role is responsible for establishing short and long term goals and objectives in line with the Mount Sinai Health System, and for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and city regulatory agencies. The Senior Manager directs and coordinates all technical activities and functions, and is accountable for all laboratory operational functions within the CVRI, including report preparation and representing the assigned area at departmental meetings. The position requires maintaining in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instrumentation, and providing administrative and programmatic oversight.
