About The Position

PetSmart is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager, Brand Marketing to lead the development, execution, and production of high-impact, integrated marketing campaigns. This role sits within our Integrated Marketing team and plays a pivotal part in bringing our “Anything for Pets” platform to life. We're looking for a proactive, innovative and solutions-oriented marketer who can take our biggest campaigns from idea to execution—crafting the vision, setting the strategy, driving execution across multiple channels, scaling content production to maximize our impact, and ultimately delivering measurable business results that deepen engagement with the PetSmart community. You should have an analytical, customer-first mindset, a passion for continuous improvement, and a sharp eye for how we can optimize our process to drive efficiency at scale. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 5-8+ years in marketing, advertising, communications, or content production
  • Retail experience strongly preferred, either in-house or agency side
  • Experience navigating matrixed organizations strongly preferred
  • Production experience strongly preferred
  • Proven success leading integrated, full-funnel campaigns across multiple channels (paid media, digital, social, content, etc.), with an established grasp of the creative production process, including broadcast/TV-level content development
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with an ability to influence and collaborate across levels
  • Highly organized with proven project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities on varied timelines
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data, test hypotheses, and optimize campaign strategies
  • Proven sense of ownership, curiosity, and a growth mindset—comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by challenges
  • Experience managing external agencies and creative vendors
  • Demonstrated interest in emerging marketing technologies and platforms, with experience identifying and integrating new tools and processes to increase production efficiency and scale campaigns
  • Passion for pets and the people who love them is a big plus!

Responsibilities

  • Lead full funnel marketing campaigns from planning stages to insight to execution—including strategic development, brief writing, production oversight, go-to-market execution, and post-campaign recaps
  • Drive work forward through a fast-paced, matrixed organization -navigating roadblocks, ambiguity and market challenges to hit key milestones and metrics
  • Closely collaborate with marketing leaders, internal stakeholders, channel partners and outside agencies to translate business needs into campaign briefs that achieve enterprise-wide strategic goals
  • Translate data and market research into key insights that drives decision-making
  • Create and implement a scalable production strategies that support high-volume content creation, working with agency and internal partners to maximize content capture; ensuring consistent quality, brand alignment, and cost-efficiency across the business
  • Own your campaign & its milestones; lead development of campaign-related presentations and reporting for internal leadership and key partners
