About The Position

As Senior Manager, Benefits and Wellbeing, you will lead key initiatives within Walmart's Absence Management team. You'll be responsible for aligning both internal and external technology integrations and systems optimization for Absence, Disability, PTO, PFML, and Accommodations, shaping the future of benefits and absence programs for over a million associates. This is a unique opportunity to influence enterprise-wide solutions and enhance the associate experience at scale. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related field and 2 years' experience in benefits management, benefits administration, healthcare regulatory compliance, or relevant area OR 4 years' experience in benefits management, benefits administration, healthcare regulatory compliance, or relevant area.
  • Deep expertise in benefits, absence management, and HRIS technology (Workday, Payroll, Time & Attendance).
  • Proven success managing large-scale system integrations and technology-driven process improvements.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Experience with automation, AI solutions, and data integration frameworks.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, manage vendors, and coach team members.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the technology strategy and roadmap for Absence Management, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee system implementations and enhancements across Benefits, Workday, Payroll, and Time & Attendance platforms, while driving secure, scalable data integrations.
  • Lead cross-functional projects from conception to delivery, managing timelines, risks, and stakeholder alignment through clear business requirements.
  • Champion automation and AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, maintain compliance, and elevate the associate experience.
  • Mentor associates, manage vendor relationships, and foster strong collaboration across teams.
