About The Position

As a Senior Manager - BCG Vantage within BCG's MSP (Marketing, Sales & Pricing) practice area, you will deliver against the client and commercial priorities for the pricing topic business. You will grow and deploy a team of pricing experts to support case work, content development and business build initiatives. You will drive the IP/content agenda, with support from the team, and lead execution of Tier One and IP projects. You will be responsible for team's performance across all KPIs (case billability, quality, content creation, etc.). Additionally, as a Senior Manager - BCG Vantage, you will engage with case teams & clients based on your individual expertise and demonstrate differentiated impact and value-add to BCG clients and case teams. Pricing is an integral topic in our Marketing, Sales and Pricing Practice Area. In the Pricing BCG Vantage Team you will have the opportunity to work with topic leadership to develop our IP and client offering, as well as supporting topic teams with analysis and subject matter expertise to deliver pricing projects for our clients.

Requirements

  • 5+ years consulting experience in pricing required; candidates with consulting experience preferred
  • In lieu of consulting experience, 7+ years minimum industry experience required; 10-12+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
  • Specialization in pricing in different sectors
  • Fluency in English; other languages requested in certain locations
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with and manage internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment

  • Leading development and commercialization of knowledge and assets e.g. tools, materials, in pricing
  • Engaging and communicating with senior stakeholders, demonstrating expert presence and credibility
  • Leading projects in a highly effective manner, mobilizing team to deliver on business priorities and commercial impact
  • Acting as a highly effective coach and mentor, guiding team members to achieve goals efficiently and effectively
  • Working in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment
