About The Position

The Senior Manager, ASC Financial Analytics is responsible for leading the financial performance, revenue cycle integrity, and data-driven operational decision-making for all Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) sites. This role serves as the primary financial analytics leader for ASC operations, overseeing profitability analysis, forecasting, cost optimization, reimbursement trends, and performance reporting. The Senior Manager provides direct leadership to the ASC Billing Manager and ASC Supply Chain Manager to ensure alignment with organizational financial goals and operational standards. This position partners closely with ASC leadership, Finance, Billing, Coding, Payer Relations, Supply Chain, IT, and Clinical Informatics to optimize financial outcomes, strengthen revenue cycle processes, and enhance data accuracy across systems and workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Minimum three year’s healthcare financial analytical experience preferred
  • Two years leadership experience preferred
  • Experience with data mining tools and concepts required 
  • Experience in graphic development and presentation 
  • Ability to critically think, listen and excellent verbal and communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently on various high-level projects and within a team environment 
  • Experience with Tableau dashboards required.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians, managers, employees and business associates.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite components
  • Use of telephone with manual dexterity required for use of keyboard.

Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive financial analysis of ASC performance, including case level profitability and cost structure evaluation. Level‑ profitability and cost structure evaluation.
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses to support budgeting and strategic planning.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for physicians and managers, speak to and present reports as needed.‑hoc financial reports,

  • Analyze case loss reports and reimbursement trends to identify revenue leakage and margin opportunities.
  • Conduct ROI analyses for new procedures and monitor post‑implementation reimbursement.
  • Track departmental and provider financial metrics to recommend proactive corrective actions.
  • Oversee ASC revenue cycle operations, ensuring accurate charge capture and coding integrity.
  • Collaborate with Billing, Coding, and Payer Relations to resolve payment issues and optimize reimbursement.
  • Review payer contracts and reimbursement structures for alignment with ASC financial goals.

  • Ensure documentation and quality measures support compliant billing and optimal reimbursement.

  • Assess data integrity and partner with Clinical Informatics/IT teams to resolve data gaps across systems.
  • Apply statistical and computational methods to refine financial models and forecast accuracy.
  • Maintain financial dashboards and reporting tools focused on costing, volumes, and reimbursement.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership.
  • Partner with ASC leadership to identify financial risks, resource needs, and cost reduction opportunities. ‑reduction opportunities.

  • Collaborate with IT and Clinical Informatics on financial data integrations, upgrades, and system testing.
