About The Position

The Senior Manager, Area Sales Operations at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for supporting the Specialty Segments within the North America commercial organization. This role involves partnering with senior leadership to develop and execute sales strategies aimed at revenue growth and customer retention. The position requires a focus on operational rigor, sales funnel management, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize tools and processes that enhance sales performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 14+ years of progressive commercial experience required.
  • 9+ years of sales, sales/marketing operations, or finance experience required.
  • 4+ years of direct people leadership experience.
  • Strong business partnering skills with sales organizations.
  • Ability to think strategically and articulate business value.
  • Experience in executing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives.
  • Strong financial background with experience in corporate FP&A and/or BI development.
  • Sales forecasting experience using SF.com or other sales platforms.
  • Experience crafting financial reports, scorecards, or dashboards.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Danaher Business System (DBS) tools or other Lean concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Own the creation of the monthly operating calendar and drive operational rigor in the monthly Operations Reviews.
  • Partner with Business Managers and Sales Leadership to develop GWR strategy and provide input on appropriate KPIs.
  • Optimize tools and dashboards in collaboration with Commercial Ops/Leadership to add value to the sales organization.
  • Execute the low-supply customer allocation process in partnership with sales, marketing, client services, and supply chain colleagues.
  • Support sales management in designing sales territories and developing annual sales quotas.
  • Spearhead active sales funnel management and ensure adherence to sales standard work.
  • Summarize competitor intelligence from health system wins and losses and manage the NACO Quarterly Competitive Report.
