About The Position

True Classic is hiring a Senior Manager of Analytics & Insights to lead our analytics function end-to-end, spanning data infrastructure, analytics engineering, and strategic insight generation. In this role you will define and execute our analytics and data strategy, build scalable and trustworthy data systems, and translate complex analyses into actionable business recommendations to drive smarter, faster decision-making across Finance, Marketing, E-Commerce, Operations, and all channel owners. All of True Classic's roles are global and omni-channel, leading designated areas of accountability across all product categories, countries, and different sales & marketing channels. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or a related field within DTC, e-commerce, or omnichannel retail
  • Deep familiarity with performance metrics including LTV, CAC, AOV, sell-through rate, return rates, and inventory performance
  • Strong command of SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Hands-on experience with modern data stack tools such as dbt, Looker, Tableau, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional analytics initiatives and communicate findings clearly to executive stakeholders

  • Experience building or scaling analytics engineering practices, including semantic layers and data modeling frameworks
  • Expertise in data quality, governance, and observability systems
  • Strong background in experimentation design and A/B testing methodology
  • Experience partnering directly with executive leadership on strategic initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the company-wide analytics and data strategy aligned to business goals
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify key business questions and design analytical frameworks to answer them
  • Serve as the internal authority on data best practices, governance, and tooling
  • Build and champion a culture of data literacy and insight-driven decision-making
  • Oversee development of dashboards, reporting, and self-service analytics tools across Merchandising, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Operations
  • Lead insight generation across customer acquisition & retention, site and store performance, product & category performance, and promotional effectiveness
  • Champion experimentation and A/B testing practices across digital channels
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for executive and non-technical audiences
  • Own the semantic layer and data models to ensure clean, documented, and trustworthy reporting
  • Oversee design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and transformations (e.g., dbt, Airflow)
  • Ensure strong data quality, observability, and governance standards across all data assets
  • Drive analytics engineering best practices including version control, testing, documentation, and modular design
  • Ensure analytics infrastructure directly supports DTC, retail, and omnichannel performance optimization
  • Deliver unified reporting that provides leadership with a clear view of customer and commercial performance
  • Partner with Engineering and Platform teams on cloud warehouse strategy and scalability
  • Align analytics roadmap with financial, marketing, and growth strategy
  • Align reporting and forecasting frameworks with financial planning and performance measurement
  • Support customer acquisition, retention, CAC/LTV modeling, and experimentation strategy
  • Optimize site performance, conversion, merchandising effectiveness, and promotional strategy
  • Improve inventory performance, sell-through, return rates, and demand planning decisions
  • Collaborate on cloud data warehouse strategy, data infrastructure, and tooling scalability
