About The Position

This position is responsible for planning, managing and controlling the activities of a team of analysts that provides business intelligence support for business segments. It involves leading initiatives to analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources, and identifying subject matter experts to support multi-functional efforts in data analysis, interpretation, and recommendation development. The role also includes advising the business with data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities, ensuring policies and procedures align with the corporate vision, and selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel for efficient function operation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Business Statistics, Accounting or Finance OR 4 years’ experience
  • 7 years’ experience interfacing with external clients., large employers, brokers, or consultants. (exclude for pharmacy)
  • 7 years’ experience interfacing with internal stakeholder and/or external clients. (pharmacy only)
  • 7 years’ experience requiring data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data
  • 4 years leadership experience including 2 years in a management position
  • Experience of Healthcare benefits, terminology, and concepts and insurance economies
  • Experience of quantitative and qualitative standards and measures and statistical measures and concepts
  • Negotiation, decision-making, and analytical skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • PC proficiency to include Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Professional designation such as Managed Healthcare Professional (MHP) or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (C.E.B.S.)
  • Experience conducting advanced data analytics, familiarity with tracking trends and addressing operational vulnerabilities
  • Prior knowledge managing 3rd party FWA vendor analytics
  • Experience with and/or is well versed in artificial intelligence
