Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is mandatory.
  • 6-8 years of proven accounting experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Working knowledge of finance law and GAAP standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare accounting background highly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing audits.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all accounting operations functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Lead external audit processes by coordinating between auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards to ensure compliance with GAAP.
  • Manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for accurate business results.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in financial processes and reporting.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff to build a high-performance team.
  • Provide leadership with vital information for decision-making and process enhancements.
  • Act as an advisor to identify opportunities, trends, risks, and financial insights.
