About The Position

The Senior Manager, Accounting will report to our global Director of Finance and work closely with finance leadership, FP&A and business stakeholders to drive an accurate and timely financial statement close, as well as support strategic decision making. This role would be suited for an accounting professional with strong business acumen, solid management and leadership skills who thrives when working on challenges and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • CPA required
  • 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, coupled with 2+ years of experience in management or a lead role
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with domestic and international colleagues
  • Experience with higher end ERP systems, such as NetSuite (highly preferred) or Intacct; Floqast experience highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor and develop the U.S. based General Ledger accounting team, which currently consists of two accountants and a senior payroll professional. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
  • Oversee General Ledger monthly close for selected accounts, and optimize and maintain Floqast.
  • Own and publish the monthly closing calendar.
  • Primary ownership for the US and international (other than Israel) payroll process, which includes ensuring the timely and accurate submission of the semi-monthly and monthly pay cycles.
  • Partner with VP of Accounting in managing worldwide treasury process, ensuring all subsidiaries have sufficient cash to meet their financial obligations.
  • Accounting ownership of the sales commissions and company bonus process, which includes calculating an accurate month-end accrual and subsequent reconciling with actual payments, as well as partnering with FP&A and HR on same.
  • Collaborate with accounting colleagues and peers both in the U.S. and overseas, utilizing a team-first approach.
  • Partner, as needed, with technical accounting to prepare monthly internal financial statements and present results to VP of Accounting and CFO.
  • Support the consolidated financial statement audit, as well as collaborate with peers and the tax team on statutory audits for the international subsidiaries.
  • Coordinate with the technical accounting team on technical memorandums involving significant or unusual transactions.
  • Partner with IT and Finance to optimize NetSuite and downstream tools (Floqast, Avalara, Shareworks, ADP, Papaya, Zip, etc.); reduce manual processes to enhance department efficiency while maintaining accuracy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
  • Take on additional tasks and special projects, as necessary.
