About The Position

The Senior Managed Services Consultant at IBM-Apptio is responsible for managing a portfolio of customers, ensuring their success and adoption of Apptio's SaaS solutions post-implementation. This role involves gathering requirements, configuring solutions, and collaborating with various teams to enhance customer satisfaction and drive value from the Apptio platform. The consultant will leverage their technical and business consulting experience to support clients in Technology Business Management (TBM) and Financial Operations (FinOps).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a business analyst, consulting, or technical analyst role.
  • 1+ years of Apptio or ITFM technical and consulting experience.
  • Customer-facing experience in system implementation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Finance, or equivalent experience.

  • Self-starter with the ability to understand complex concepts with minimal assistance.
  • Team player with solid communication and presentation skills.
  • Competent with packaged and SaaS application software implementation practices.

Responsibilities

  • Gather functional and business requirements from clients and translate them into a functional SaaS solution design.
  • Handle all hands-on configuration and Apptio administrative responsibilities for supported clients.
  • Configure, test, and document Apptio dashboards, reports, and underlying data models.
  • Work with product management and development organizations to channel client feedback into future releases of the Apptio product suite.
  • Collaborate with CS leadership to channel commonalities across customers into best practices processes and product templates.
  • Work with other departments to achieve customer satisfaction and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate passion for the continued success of customers and perseverance in challenging situations.
  • Exhibit professional demeanor while communicating with customers and peers.
  • Show humility while interacting with team members and contribute to organizational values.
  • Be a fast learner and take ownership of knowledge gaps.
  • Collaborate with other consultants to leverage skill sets and deliverables.
  • Actively contribute ideas based on previous experience.
