About The Position

We have an opportunity for a Senior Major Account Manager - Federal Civilian to join our Federal sales team, reporting to the Director of Sales, Federal. In this pivotal role, you will focus on growing revenues within an install base and acquiring new accounts. This includes owning and coordinating all aspects of the sales cycle and maintaining and expanding the customer base within the federal space. Our successful salespeople have an entrepreneurial spirit while acting ethically and transparently.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a strong track record of quota attainment and growth in complex sales environments.
  • 3+ years of direct sales experience into U.S. Federal Civilian agencies.
  • In-depth understanding of Federal procurement processes, compliance standards, and funding cycles.
  • Strong relationships and demonstrated success within key civilian agencies.
  • Experience with long sales cycles, complex deal structures, and navigating multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) puts you at the front of the line.
  • Cloud and/or security knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Professionals with superior people skills and a can-do attitude are highly desired.
  • TS/SCI Security Clearance and requisite security clearances and badges for this market space are required.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of named Federal Civilian accounts (e.g., DHS, DOJ, HHS, GSA, DOE, USDA, etc.).
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with agency priorities, funding timelines, and acquisition strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong executive relationships with decision-makers, program leaders, and procurement officials.
  • Drive customer engagement throughout the entire sales cycle - from opportunity identification to close and post-sale expansion.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (solution architects, marketing, legal, operations) to craft tailored solutions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of federal contracting vehicles (e.g., GSA, GWACs, BPAs), budgets, and procurement processes.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and maintain up-to-date information in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Represent the company at industry events, agency briefings, and partner engagements.
