Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least 3 years of building maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to work independently and supervise a team.
  • Physically capable of performing activities like lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, standing, and walking.
  • Valid driver's license with minimal violations/points.
  • Ability to travel between dealership locations (vehicle provided).

Responsibilities

  • Perform minor electrical maintenance (e.g., repairing equipment, replacing switches, outlets, ballasts, and light fixtures).
  • Handle minor plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing faucets.
  • Complete carpentry repairs, such as door hardware replacement, wall patching, and painting.
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor HVAC maintenance (e.g., replacing filters, belts, thermostats, cleaning coils).
  • Monitor building conditions, equipment, and systems, ensuring proper maintenance and operation.
  • Assist and supervise vendors for specialized services such as fire protection systems, HVAC systems, lawn care, and snow removal.
  • Travel between dealership locations as needed (vehicle provided).
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
