Job Description: Our Orlando Distribution Center is seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a chance to work for a company that has the rare mix of being a fun, Vet high-paced and professional work environment. This candidate should be well-rounded in industrial, mechanical, and electrical components. Someone who has repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (relay logic to microprocessor controls)
- Knowledge of mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems (AC/DC drives, PLCs, UPS, compressors, etc.)
- Ability to work nights, holidays, and occasional short‑notice call‑ins
- Quick learner with solid problem‑solving skills
Nice To Haves
- NEC knowledge and light electrical construction experience
- Experience with LOTO, OSHA, and work order systems
- Technical degree or trade certification
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electro‑mechanical systems
- Support and improve equipment such as conveyors, A‑Frames, printers, strappers, compressors, and other automated technologies
- Read and interpret electrical schematics
- Lead and mentor junior maintenance staff
- Work with vendors and contractors to resolve issues
- Learn new systems as technology evolves
