The Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the assembly, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems and machinery throughout the facility. This role requires a strong understanding of both mechanical components and electrical systems with specific expertise in PLC drives, motors, and automated controls.

Requirements

Associate's degree or technical diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, PLCs, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and vacuum systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and maintenance software.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must be able to wear a respirator and all other PPE requirements for the position
Ability to enter and attend permit required confined space
Mobile Equipment Certified

Nice To Haves

Industrial electrical experience preferred.
Experience in an industrial production setting preferred.
Knowledge of Pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical systems preferred.
Experience with HVAC a plus.
Knowledge of machinery operating software/hardware such as PLC's and VFD controls and hand's on experience with installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing Electrical & Electronic Control Systems and components preferred
Ability to read and understand technical documentation and use trade mathematics along with precision measuring/testing instruments preferred
Working knowledge of sensors and monitoring devices for temperature, flow, pressure, voltage, current and other parameters preferred

Responsibilities

Assemble, install, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components according to schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in machinery as well as throughout the overall facility.
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support new equipment installations or modifications.
Competency in operation of site's wastewater treatment facility while meeting all required standards and procedures
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Ability to work emergency call-ins and mandatory overtime including weekends
Perform other functions as requested by management
