The Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the assembly, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems and machinery throughout the facility. This role requires a strong understanding of both mechanical components and electrical systems with specific expertise in PLC drives, motors, and automated controls.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or technical diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, PLCs, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and vacuum systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
  • Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and maintenance software.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator and all other PPE requirements for the position
  • Ability to enter and attend permit required confined space
  • Mobile Equipment Certified

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial electrical experience preferred.
  • Experience in an industrial production setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of Pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical systems preferred.
  • Experience with HVAC a plus.
  • Knowledge of machinery operating software/hardware such as PLC's and VFD controls and hand's on experience with installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing Electrical & Electronic Control Systems and components preferred
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation and use trade mathematics along with precision measuring/testing instruments preferred
  • Working knowledge of sensors and monitoring devices for temperature, flow, pressure, voltage, current and other parameters preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components according to schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in machinery as well as throughout the overall facility.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support new equipment installations or modifications.
  • Competency in operation of site's wastewater treatment facility while meeting all required standards and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Ability to work emergency call-ins and mandatory overtime including weekends
  • Perform other functions as requested by management
