The primary purpose of the Senior Maintenance Technician position is to perform general repairs, preventive maintenance and installs of facility equipment.

  • Oversee, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair facility equipment ensuring a safe and productive work environment
  • Disassemble mechanical equipment, repair or replace worn or broken parts, and adjust parts of mechanical devices as needed
  • Inspect completed repairs
  • Plan, prioritize and self-schedule maintenance work in alignment with organizational goals
  • Develop, implement and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
  • Maintain continuous improvement initiatives in equipment reliability, maintenance processes, and shop organization
  • Manage procurement of parts and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely availability
  • Ability to work after hours and weekends as required
  • Responsible for moving equipment and office furniture
  • Support facility operations and special projects, including seasonal requests
  • Represent the Facilities function professionally in cross functional meetings, collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards, fostering a culture of accountability and hazard prevention
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
  • May be required to assist with special projects, facility support, or other tasks outside of regular maintenance duties as business needs dictate.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance preferred
  • Basic computer entry/retrieval skills required
  • HVAC certificate or licensed electrician preferred
  • Experience using a CMMS to handle work orders and PM checklist preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret machine manuals/schematics, electrical blueprints/schematics and process control diagrams
  • Experience troubleshooting of PLC and other control systems in an industrial environment
  • Experience working independently and with minimal supervision.
