From your PASSION to ours Lactalis American Group part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Systems Developer based in Buffalo NY. From your EXPERTISE to ours Key responsibilities for this position include: Summary : Responsible, self-starter needed in a Dairy Plant to support all technical aspects of the industrial plant. Included are low voltage systems(<1000V), PLC controls and instrumentation, machinery interfacing, and motor control systems. The position is expected to train other Maintenance personnel in the theory, application, and analytical troubleshooting of these systems. Interfacing with vendors, engineers, and plant personnel will be a major part of the position. Some project work may be included. Updating of documentation within the department will be necessary. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned Responsible for the manufacture of safe, quality food observing all Good Manufacturing Practices, being alert for bio-terrorism and reporting off standard or abnormal conditions. Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of pasteurizing equipment (CCP's and CQP's). Report problems with the food safety management system to the designated management personnel (Food Safety Team Members).
