About The Position

Under general supervision, the Senior Maintenance Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of multiple Sheriff's Office facilities, including: Sheriff's Office Main Campus Jail Facility Office of Emergency Management Sheriff's Office North Campus Central Dispatch Building Search & Rescue Building Marine Boathouse

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
At least 5 years (60 months) of relevant experience/training, or a combination of education and experience
Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one; must maintain insurance
Successful completion of a comprehensive background check (including polygraph)

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of general building maintenance tasks: Electrical HVAC Carpentry Construction Plumbing
Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance
Ensure all safety protocols and codes are followed
Respond promptly to maintenance requests across all facilities
