The position involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing facilities, equipment, tooling, complex pipes and plumbing that carry gas, water, air or hydraulic oils; complex electrical wiring and may program and or work on equipment controllers. The role also includes leading and training others on specific maintenance skills.

Requirements

  • Preferred Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience (3-5 years).
  • Leadership training.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair facilities, equipment, tooling, complex pipes and plumbing.
  • Repair and install complex electrical wiring for high & low voltage.
  • Electrical troubleshooting, repair, and installation of complex motor controls, fuses, and circuit breakers.
  • May program and/or work on equipment controllers.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install complex and highly automated machinery using air, hydraulics, motors, bearings, etc.
  • Fabricate complex production equipment, fixtures, support frames, benches, shelving, etc.
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance, write procedures, and train others in limited maintenance.
  • Repair and improve facility buildings and grounds.
