A Day in the Life The Enterprise Maintenance Excellence (EMEx) function at Medtronic is part of the Operation Innovations (OI) Group. EMEx focuses on all aspects of the equipment life cycle—from development, maintaining ‘As New’ condition, to ultimate decommissioning. We engineer the extraordinary through rigorous application of technical excellence and enterprise-wide deployment of standardized work and engineering strategy. We maximize business value by establishing an enterprise-wide Computerized Asset Management System (CAMS) and Work Management Process to standardize work management throughout the equipment lifecycle.
