About The Position

The Crew Leader position involves overseeing multiple crews and ensuring that all responsibilities are met according to the standards set by the Account Manager and the client. The Crew Leader will maintain primary responsibility for specific sites or routes, ensuring effective communication with clients and managing the development and training of new hires and crew leaders. This role requires a strong understanding of irrigation, water management, and plant identification, as well as the ability to troubleshoot pest issues and supervise enhancements such as new planting and irrigation.

Requirements

• GED or equivalent
• Strong computer skills
• Proficient in English (verbal, written, and reading comprehension)
• Smartphone required for position
• Knowledge of irrigation and water management
• Ability to identify plants and their sensitivities
• CLT and industry certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Manager
• Follow up and inspection of multiple crews and punch lists
• Maintain primary responsibility for specific site/route
• Communicate with clients in English
• Conduct employee development and training for new hires and crew leaders
• Supervise new planting, plant infill, and irrigation enhancements
• Troubleshoot pest issues
• Participate in team meetings and safety meetings
• Complete additional paperwork such as work orders and purchase orders
• Evaluate production and hours budgeting
• Conduct performance evaluations
