About The Position

THE ROLE: Entegris is currently seeking a Senior Machinist Lead to join our team. This position will be based at our Decatur, TX facility. This leadership role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our machining department, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, proven leadership capabilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement. SHIFT SCHEDULE IS NIGHT SHIFT MONDAY-FRIDAY.

Requirements

• Minimum 5–10 years of machining experience
• Advanced experience with CNC machining, especially 5-axis milling, CNC turning
• Familiarity with material grades
• Proficiency in G-code, and CNC programming
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, CMM)
• Proven ability to lead and mentor machinists and coordinate daily shop operations
• Experience working from production schedules
• Strong understanding of ISO, AS9100, and safety compliance standards
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, quality, and scheduling teams

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations in the machine shop, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Provide hands-on support and guidance to machinists, leads, and technicians.
• Monitor and maintain quality control standards across all machining processes.
• Collaborate with scheduling to resolve issues and optimize performance.
• Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
