About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to develop and optimize deep learning models that advance the state of the art in data-driven planning and control for autonomous driving. You will design, implement, and deploy machine learning systems for real-time trajectory generation in autonomous vehicles. This role involves solving challenging planning and control problems in resource-constrained, on-vehicle environments.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in both C++ and Python
  • Strong understanding of trajectory optimization, reinforcement learning algorithms and imitation learning
  • 4+ years of experience in designing, training, and deploying ML models
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
  • Eager to stay current with emerging technologies and committed to continuous learning.
  • Conference or Journal publications in Machine Learning or Robotics-related venues

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with autonomous driving applications in areas such as perception, prediction, planning, or simulation
  • Experience with CUDA and inference optimization for real-time systems
  • Publications in reinforcement learning (RL), inverse reinforcement learning (IRL), optimal control, or robotics

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, implement, optimize and deploy deep learning models that advance the state of the art in data-driven control algorithms for trajectory and path generation.
  • Designing reward functions to improve vehicle behavior.
  • Developing tools and metrics to analyze system errors and measure performance improvements.
  • Optimizing model and system performance for real-time inference.
  • Participating in code and design reviews.
