Because when advertising is done right, it benefits everyone. Ads ML Experimentation team is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer / Scientist who will help drive innovation. This is a hands-on role for developing & supporting product features. This role requires partnering with cross-functional teams to effectively coordinate the complex interdependencies inherent in application development. A successful candidate has strong technical skills and is eager to create intuitive user experiences; they have a keen eye for the details that surprise and delight our customers. While understanding our product features, you will perform rigorous analysis, measure performance and make data-driven decisions. Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to design, implement and evolve the user facing features of the multivariate experimentation platform. Promote experimentation best practices across the organization. Execute on the experimentation roadmap and future integrations with data-driven prioritization. Exercise strong judgment and make thoughtful decisions with ambiguous situations. Strike the right balance between short-term wins vs. long-term success based on various constraints. You will join and contribute to a culture that emphasizes observability and understandability, reliability, resiliency, simplicity, reusability, extensibility, scalability, velocity and productivity. Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related field (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD).
  • 10+ years of industry experience building scalable applications.
  • Curious business attitude with a proven ability to seek projects with a sense of ownership.
  • Excellent communication, social and presentation skills.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with advanced statistical and causal inference.
  • Experience collaborating with UX designers to prototype the user experience during the design phase.
  • Prior experience in building highly performative Experimentation systems.
