About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of industry experience applying machine learning methods in areas such as recommender systems, ads ranking, reinforcement learning, or graph representation learning.
• Strong understanding of machine learning approaches and algorithms.
• Proficiency with big data technologies such as Hive, Hadoop, and Spark.
• Hands-on experience in building data processing pipelines and large-scale machine learning systems.

Nice To Haves

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Previous experience building end-to-end machine learning systems.

Responsibilities

• Utilize cutting-edge deep learning and machine learning technologies to enhance and personalize the Lemon8 user experience.
• Collaborate closely with the Lemon8 product and operations teams to experiment with and refine ML models across various product surfaces.
• Apply data-driven methodologies and leverage unique data properties to continuously improve user engagement and consumption experiences.
• Operate in a high-impact environment with rapid experimentation cycles and swift deployment of experimental results.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in recommendation systems.
