About The Position

When you join Caterpillar, you're joining a global team who cares not just about the work we do – but also about each other. We are the makers, problem solvers, and future world builders who are creating stronger, more sustainable communities. We don't just talk about progress and innovation here – we make it happen, with our customers, where we work and live. Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. As a Senior Machine Integration Engineer on Caterpillar’s Hydraulic Mining Shovel (HMS) team, you will be responsible for coordinating the integration of multiple complex systems (hydraulics, structures, electrical, etc.) into a machine platform, maintain top-level machine models and Bill of Material structures, and work with manufacturing partners to implement new designs into production for large-scale mining machines. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to evaluate design integration and function, ensure accuracy of parts and engineering data, and lead the implementation and effectivity of engineering changes. This role directly shapes the quality, safety, and reliability of Caterpillar’s hydraulic mining shovels used globally.
