About The Position

The Role Part of a broader team responsible for the delivery of Enterprise End User Technology and Collaboration Services, the Sr. M365 Engineer is responsible for the design, development and delivery of centralized technology solutions that offer tangible productivity gains, resulting in business benefits. With a strategic focus on the underlying technology platforms, ensure that business critical environments, services and capabilities are delivered in accordance with expectations and requirements. Responsible for applying standard solution development and engineering principles to facilitate corporate growth and development. Working closely with the M365 Global Director to: Evaluate industry trends and technology developments for enterprise level social, file and content, work management, messaging and analytic platforms with a predominant focus on the use of Microsoft 365 solutions; Assess suitability and viability for effective deployment Recommend and arbitrate between technical choices that best serve the organization’s needs and adhere to IT’s guiding principles Generate quantifiable business cases for technology development Review existing products and solutions to ensure that they adhere to architecture and security standards and are in the best interest of the organization Develop technology roadmaps in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders Develop service improvement programme with business and IT stakeholders. Support ongoing business development through the implementation of optimized solutions. Participate in Colleague Experience and adoption activities to drive business benefit and enterprise solution utilization Design automation and a self-service wherever possible Develop Engineering team capabilities Ensure services transitioned into operations have effective and efficient documentation and are readily accepted into operations Maintain Information Security focus through risk mitigation and data loss prevention practices.

Requirements

  • Extensive exposure to M365 Enterprise Platforms, including: SharePoint / OneDrive / Teams Power Platform Exchange Microsoft Copilot Microsoft Entra ID Security and Compliance suite
  • Previous experience with implementing and managing large enterprise M365 estate
  • Ability to translate business requirements into sustainable and effective solutions and services
  • Propagate a culture of excellence, openness, communication, and support
  • Demonstrate technology architecture, engineering and low-level support team leadership
  • Demonstrate technology development and engineering expertise
  • Assist in the ongoing development and implementation of solutions that are appropriate for the WTW environment
  • Evaluate capabilities for greater solution flexibility and service automation to enhance business operations
  • Assist with business engagement to proactively develop and enhance the solutions and services portfolio
  • Ensure services transitioned into operations have effective and efficient documentation and are readily accepted into operations
  • Provide consultancy and solution development support for key business stakeholders
  • Develop technologies and solutions to facilitate continued service improvement
  • Apply technology awareness and associated management skills to guide team resources to achieve their full potential
  • Ensure talent, creativity, and opportunities for innovation are recognized and developed appropriately
