The candidate will be responsible for establishing transportation methods and routes that ensure the shortest lead time, no delays, high transportation quality, and competitive prices. Strong communication skills are essential for building relationships with delivery companies and resolving issues, along with strong negotiation skills. The role also involves understanding the relationships between import, warehousing, and store delivery to execute smooth operations in collaboration with delivery companies and warehouse 3PLs. To maintain high transport quality, the candidate will attend delivery sites for store deliveries weekly, providing guidance and requesting improvements in delivery operations. Regular meetings with delivery companies will be conducted weekly and monthly to improve transport quality and resolve issues. The position requires working on a shift system throughout the year, including weekends and holidays, executing delivery, tracking, and transport planning operations. Additionally, the candidate will create delivery cost budgets, manage actual vs. budgeted figures, and execute payment operations.
