Senior Logistics Engineer
About The Position
Saab, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Engineer to join our Integrated Logistics Support Team in a dynamic and multidimensional environment. In this role, you will create, evaluate, refine, and implement system support and maintenance concepts and plans to support evolving hardware and software systems throughout development and sustainment. You will conduct supportability analyses using field data and recommend system support improvements to enhance reliability and longevity, such as through an effective obsolescence management program. This position involves close collaboration with program leadership, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders across Saab, Inc. This position may be performed remotely. Candidates located in the Syracuse, New York area are preferred.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in an engineering or related discipline with 8+ years of experience, or MA/MS degree with 6+ years of experience, or 12+ years of relevant military or aerospace experience.
- Experience with techniques and tools to define, quantify, and analyze supportability issues across multiple ILS elements.
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

- Ability to communicate effectively and manage customer and subcontractor relationships to meet requirements and coordinate opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Perform Product Support Analysis (PSA) and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) in support of Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA).
- Plan and lead customer meetings, including Provisioning Guidance Conferences, Provisioning Conferences, and LORA Guidance Conferences.
- Provide provisioning support for the procurement and cataloging of equipment required to sustain systems.
- Configure Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP) to meet customer requirements.
- Travel to Syracuse, NY approximately 5% annually.
