About The Position
As a Senior Logistics Consultant at OEC Group, you will play a pivotal role in executing the full sales lifecycle processes. This includes engaging in pre-work activities, conducting detailed discovery conversations, and leading informative meetings to identify the specific needs of prospective clients. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a trusted advisor for their freight forwarding needs, ensuring that you provide tailored solutions that align with their logistics requirements. OEC Group, established in 1981, is recognized as one of the top freight forwarders in the transportation industry, serving over 50,000 customers through a global network of offices. The company prides itself on its ability to adapt to the ever-changing logistics landscape, delivering quality information and services to clients. As a Senior Logistics Consultant, you will be expected to leverage your expertise in ocean and air services to drive sales and expand the company's client base. In this role, you will seek out new clients and establish a robust book of business through various prospecting methods, including cold calling, networking, and attending trade shows. You will present OEC Group's comprehensive service offerings, which include Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage. Meeting monthly revenue quotas set by sales management will be a key performance indicator for your success in this position. Additionally, you will collaborate with CRM specialists to enhance the company's sales presence in the local market and maintain effective communication with internal teams and overseas offices.
