About The Position

Trace systems is seeking a Senior Logistician for a Network Operations (NETOPS) Service Desk focused on Tactical Communications in a Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) mission. Duties will include coordinating the storage, transportation, and delivery of goods. Additionally, the Logistician will liaise with colleagues to ensure stock is maintained and moved efficiently and coordinate with Command level equipment management for accountability. This is one of the key positions with frequent [customer-facing] responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Active, in-scope U.S. government issued Secret clearance.
  • Due to the nature of the work and U.S. government requirements, US citizenship is required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or shipment administration.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing complex supply chain operations, managing asset inventory databases, optimizing transportation, managing inventory levels, and improving logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Manage shipping and logistics budgets, ensure compliance with DCMA regulations/guidance, and collaborate cross- functionally to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
  • Quote, pack, label, and ship spare parts and produced Systems to units in the field, technicians on travel, or other-directed locations.
  • Provide reporting as required on logistics and asset management, also execute inventory auditing, both internal and contractually required.
  • Receive, processed, document, label, and warehouse or ship items from units or vendors to manage spare parts in both central and decentralized locations.
  • Ensure separation of assets for different projects through both physical and electronic methods.
  • Develop rough order magnitude estimates (ROM).
  • Coordinate Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA's).
