S&K Federal Services has a need for a Senior Logistician located at the U.S. Army Testing Evaluation Command (ATEC) in Aberdeen, Maryland. This role will support a focus on Logistics Support Tasks to include but not limited to Equipment/Maintenance Management, and Property Management support.

  • Serve and support Project/Program Manager on contract assignments and objectives.
  • Manage administrative details and maintain daily contact with direct reports to enhance communication and proactively identify and resolve work related issues.
  • Provide daily direction and guidance while managing ATEC assigned team members for execution of duties and ensure project/program standards are maintained.
  • Recruit, interview, hire and train new ATEC staff.
  • Coach, counsel, employees assigned to support ATEC HQ.
  • Adhere to and enforce company, project/program policies and procedures.
  • Protect and control proprietary documents and processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of management.
  • Prepare and brief Army senior officers, civilians, and their staff on Army logistics principles.
  • Provide guidance to the G-4 staff and subordinate organizations (SOs) on proper Army Logistic controls and procedures IAW published Army and ATEC regulations.
  • Guide and train subordinate organizations logistics automation transformation.
  • Oversee and manage equipment and maintenance management functional areas to include but not limited to data collection, analysis, and reporting of vehicles and equipment.
  • Recommend changes to SO procedures as needed.
  • Knowledge of Army property management procedures and systems to include but not limited to Property Accountability, Material Management, Inventory, Weapons Management, and Fuel Management in support of ATEC.
  • Associate degree in business, finance, logistics or related field is required.
  • A minimum of four (4) years supervisory leadership experience.
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years specific experience in Equipment Management, Maintenance Management, and Property Management in Army logistics processes.
  • A minimum of five (5) years experience using GCSS-A in multiple roles including Access Administration (AA).
  • Must have three (3) years Subject Matter level experience at the Brigade/equivalent level with Army Logistics Systems (GCSS-A, MMIS, TIMS, AESIP, DST, FMSweb, GSA Fleet, Vantage) or as a Combat Service Support Automation Management Officer (CSSAMO) or equivalent.
  • Must have current/valid drivers license for clearance or if driving is required.
  • Must have proof of U.S. citizenship.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Must have Global Combat Sustainment System-Army (GCSS-Army) Certificates.
  • Preference given to higher education level.
  • Graduate of Master Leaders Course, Advanced Warrant Officer Course, or Logistics Captains Career Course (Preferred).
  • A minimum of (2) years of Army Logistics experience at the strategic level is preferred.
