About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Loan Servicing Specialist to join our Loan Administration team at Bridgewater Bank in St. Louis Park. Reporting to the Loan Servicing Lead, this senior-level role performs advanced servicing functions for complex commercial and consumer loans. This includes booking attorney-prepared and non-standard loan types, managing specialty portfolios, and ensuring accuracy and compliance across all loan servicing activities. The Senior Specialist also serves as a subject-matter expert, providing training, guidance, and elevated support to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of commercial and consumer loan processing, documentation, or servicing experience, with strong understanding of complex loan structures
  • Strong oral and written communication skillss with the ability to support both internal and external stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and strong knowledge of rules, regulations, and policies related to loan documentation and servicing

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee advanced portfolios and reporting, including Loan Participations, related general ledger accounts, SBA loan servicing, swap processing, Letter of Credit logs, escrow analysis, and other daily, monthly, or quarterly reporting as assigned.
  • Proactively monitor compliance tracking systems including real estate tax monitoring, insurance, and other key loan tickets.
  • Perform specialized loan maintenance on E/O/D, non-accrual, charged off, and special mention accounts.
  • Monitor and process correspondence and payments related to subpoenas, real estate taxes, insurance, and REO properties, as assigned.
  • Book attorney-prepared and complex commercial loan structures, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Process and manage internal and external requests within loan documentation terms and bank policy, including draws, payments, wire transfers, payoffs, and collateral releases.
  • Serve as a resource for Lenders, Loan Administrators, clients, and external agencies by responding to requests, researching discrepancies, and resolving servicing issues.
  • Assist the Loan Servicing Lead in training and on boarding team members on procedures and complex workflows.
  • Create, update, and maintain procedures related to loan booking and servicing.
