The Senior Loan Boarding Analyst role requires strong leadership skills in addition to a strong understanding of commercial real estate, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The Senior Loan Boarding Analyst will have high visibility with internal and external clients and will be responsible for coordinating with various parties, reviewing, and interpreting loan documentation, ensuring accurate and complete input of loan data into the servicing system, conducting quality control checks, resolving discrepancies, and reviewing loan modification documentation. This role also involves collaborating with other departments, providing support to team members, staying updated on industry regulations, participating in training programs, and overseeing special projects as assigned. We are committed to growing your career, so in this role you will: Handle the full range of tasks within the New Loan Boarding job description with minimal intervention or oversight from management, demonstrating a solid foundation and knowledge of the processes and procedures within the department. Train/develop team members to improve performance and knowledge within the department. Oversee and respond to email correspondence received in the New Loan Boarding and Acquisitions/Conversions mailboxes and ensure responses are handled according to the internal SLA. Intake, review and interpret all post-closing loan packages from internal and external clients for all loan product types, ensuring that all loan packages are complete and follow up with lending positions or third-party originators on exceptions. Prepare e-forms to process escrow/reserve funds on newly boarded loans. Complete automated and manual Welcome Letters (including the calculation and verification of the loan payment details), as needed. For more complex loan types (i.e., SASB) ability to add/change applicable loan data and coding in the McCracken servicing system to reflect the terms of a structure finance transaction. Supports incoming and outgoing loan transfers, including coordination with all parties, document and data management and all other critical steps. For acquisitions, coordinate data mapping and uploads as well as reconciliation of and application of funds. Interact with investor clients, master servicers, title companies, attorneys, loan officers, internal closing teams, servicing operational teams, as needed, and notify client relations and loan administration of time sensitive/critical issues. Assist with the coordination of any corrected specially serviced CMBS, Agency and third-party loan modifications. Identify and reconcile any funds remaining in the new loan boarding bank account greater than thirty (30) days. Participate in the review of new products and ensure proper coding when analyzing loans for upload to the McCracken system and notify Client Relations. Participate in continuous departmental process improvement and innovation projects timely and efficiently. Aid SDC with any rate uploads or other processes, as needed. Under special circumstances, ability to manually board a loan from the loan closing package. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in Commercial Real Estate, with a comprehensive understanding of property markets and related financial strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of the full loan boarding lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, ensuring clear and effective conveyance of information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, McCracken Strategy, and IBM Cognos is essential for effective job performance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
