About The Position

Brookdale Senior Living seeks a high-energy Sales Manager to travel across a designated portfolio of ~12 New Jersey communities to drive rapid occupancy growth. This role acts as an interim sales leader, stepping into communities with vacancies to execute high-volume outreach, convert prospects to move-ins, and achieve budgeted revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years recent sales experience (Senior Living preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license for frequent regional travel.
  • Proven ability to close sales and achieve goals.
  • Strong technology skills (CRM, Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities

  • Occupancy Driving: Conduct high-quality daily in-person/phone sales calls to convert inquiries to move-ins, prioritizing rate integrity and revenue goals.
  • Regional Outreach: Travel to multiple communities to build professional referral networks with local medical, financial, and legal professionals.
  • Sales Strategy: Partner with Executive Directors to implement localized marketing plans to increase community awareness.
  • Lead Management: Utilize CRM tools to manage the full sales journey from initial interest to move-in, ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Sales Culture Leadership: Act as an ambassador for Brookdale, guiding families through the emotional sales journey while mentoring local staff.
