About The Position

The Senior Living Advisor at Sunrise Senior Living is responsible for increasing initial in-person presentations and move-ins from leads referred by various agencies. This remote position requires effective communication and relationship-building skills to position Sunrise as a preferred provider in senior living. The role involves responding to leads, managing relationships with referral agencies, and achieving sales targets, all while working flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Two to five (2-5) years sales experience
  • A demonstrated track record of closing sales
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate group presentations
  • Excels in organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • Manages conflict effectively
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstration of proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise applications
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
  • Proven ability to work without daily supervision in a home-office environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in senior living or healthcare sales
  • Familiarity with CRM software

Responsibilities

  • Responding to leads from multiple channels (phone, email, and website)
  • Entering leads into the Sunrise lead database application
  • Reviewing all Sunrise options with the referral agency representative
  • Contacting the lead and setting up the initial in-person presentation (IPP)
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for the referral agency and/or customer until the community Director of Sales establishes contact
  • Positioning Sunrise Senior Living as a preferred provider
  • Strengthening professional relationships with the referral agencies
  • Implementing sales strategies
  • Achieving sales targets
