About The Position

The Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership, operations, and performance of assigned elder care facilities. This role ensures high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, financial integrity, and effective staff leadership while fostering a positive and resident-centered environment. The Administrator serves as a key leader within the organization and as a representative to residents, families, community partners, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field
  • Current Iowa Nursing Home Administrator license
  • Minimum of two (2) years of administrator experience in elder care or similar setting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee resident care, safety, and quality of life
  • Lead day-to-day operations and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Hire, develop, and manage leadership and staff teams
  • Develop and manage budgets; ensure fiscal responsibility
  • Make admission decisions based on care needs and financial analysis
  • Serve as the primary representative to families, community partners, and regulatory agencies
