About The Position

The position is for an experienced attorney to join Snowflake's Legal team, focusing on managing various litigation matters including commercial, IP, trademark, bankruptcy, and employment-related disputes. The role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to handle legal risks and improve processes related to litigation in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state bar.
• Minimum of 6 years of legal experience with substantive litigation experience.
• Experience managing complex litigation and/or class action claims.
• Experience conducting internal investigations.
• Law firm experience and/or in-house experience preferred.
• Ability to explain complicated concepts in simple terms.
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and a sense of humor.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial, IP, trademark, bankruptcy, and employment-related disputes and litigation matters.
• Handle responses to subpoenas, garnishment orders, domestic relations orders, and statutory requests for information.
• Lead internal investigations on legal risk matters.
• Develop scalable processes and procedures for handling litigation matters.
• Advise business stakeholders on litigation risks and issues.
• Evaluate legal risks and benefits of complex situations and propose practical solutions.
• Review and advise on litigation-related contractual provisions in commercial agreements.
