About The Position

Hall Prangle is seeking to hire a full-time attorney in its Salt Lake City office who has at least 5 years as a practicing litigator, with experience in medical malpractice or healthcare law. This attorney will work with small teams of associates and paralegals, led by seasoned trial attorneys with proven track records, all working collaboratively to efficiently provide our clients with the best possible results.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the Utah State Bar
  • 5-10 years’ experience in the defense of medical malpractice cases or practicing healthcare law
  • Strong understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to the firm’s clients from pre-trial through trial
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, written discovery, and agreements
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, trials, and client meetings
  • Conduct legal research and case analysis
  • Collaborate with senior associates and partners on case strategy
  • Contribute to business development and client relationship management
