  • Design, maintain, and support operations and maintenance (O&M) activities of a large enclave comprised of various hardware, software, and network components.
  • Develop and carry out strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture and technology with minimal impact.
  • Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.
  • Network administration including installing, configuring, and maintaining net devices; configuring various routing protocols, troubleshooting multi-hop connectivity, throughput, and latency; setting up firewalls.
  • Responsible for secure infrastructure and vulnerability corrections, data security, compliance, and backups and recovery.
  • Maintain SSPs, STE/STN requirements via RMF, Netseer, SEAR logging, patching, IAVMs, McAfee, and UAM.
  • Responsible for user-level support, including interacting with system-savvy developers and analysts, resolving network, computer, and virtual system issues & anomalies.
  • Maintain enclave documentation (network diagram, system names, IP addresses, barcodes, etc.); provide monthly activity report to include system outages.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining nginx; system monitoring platforms like OpenVAS, Prometheus and Grafana; SELinux and FIPS.
  • Bachelor's degree plus eleven (11) to fifteen (15) years of relevant systems administration experience or equivalent.
  • Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for this role.
  • Familiarity with Docker, MongoDB, and Elastic Search.
  • Experience with Ansible and GitLab.
  • RedHat Satellite.
  • Working knowledge of software-defined networks.
